Since, I have been playing the game and researching its characters. love 'the group' but I can't go into detail in case Hannah reads this.
Lost starts up again on Sunday, doesn't it? Got that to look forward to. Tomorrow I have an interview for Manchester Uni - not exactly ready, but should be okay.
Also I have vague plot ideas (when don't I?) that if I focus I'll probably be able to make into something more corporeal. Like a plot. But my characters do need new names; I'm fed up with reusing old ones like K'zar and Aiden and Meredith and Europa and Myra and all the others.

I'm happy now. 'Cos I can listen to music again, and surf mindlessly across the 'net, and, and, and type meaninglessly and other stuff which I can't do without a laptop.
Only bad thing is, now I have no excuse not to do my Spanis coursework...

What do you think the other guys would think of a murder mystery game? - it's not too long, or challenging I might add, but it would pro'ly be quite fun. I would also suggest that we don't do the recomended dress up thing or the themed recipes that are included.
If you do think its a good idea tell me, and possibly tell the other guys.
BTW - I've decided that Jenny's gonna be the downtrodden daughter who's just found her true love in the australian hunk (Simon - ha), Anja'll pro'ly be the invalid sister - no offense but the others aren't much better. And Hannah can be Anja's psychotic care-worker. Chris and Jo have an interesting marriage with either me or Sam as their neglected son - the other one of us has to be Louisa's (unused character - Chris and Jo's daughter) promiscuous fiancé.
So whaddya think?

In the next town over, lunator (Mae West) buys a wheelbarrow from prncsbkwrm (Sarah Michelle Gellar). The next day, slatterly (Timothy Dalton) likes books, but mageydepink (Vivian Hsu) thinks they're disgusting. Wackiness ensues. |

Merry saturday to all.
I'm guessing maybe I should update, since things have happened.
On monday me
telynmurali and Simon went to Manchester on teh train for the open day, and I've decided it's the university for me - I think Jen has too.
Then there was evil awkwardly-timetabled, evil-door-installing, 6.6-stealing school. Although the school didn't actually steal 6.6 - the chavs did. But now we have claimed 6.3 as our own.
Major news equals my father is remarrying. Unsurprisingly he is engaged to wed Claire on the 31st of August 2007 and he wants me to be his best man. Is that not just creepy. I think it is. I said I'll do it as long as I don't have to speech at the reception. (yes speech is now a verb, as is ninja and crow - as in "I ninja'd across the room to crow at a random clown).
Currently I'm not wearing any underwear but I shall soon rectify that.
See you.

I just took this synaesthesia test. It says I'm not a Grapheme to Colour synaesthete but I don't think their test is quite sophisticated enough to deal with my freaky colours. I came out on top in days and months though. I am officially a synaesthete.
Here's the link, http://www.synesthete.org/, I suggest that if you think your synaesthetic you should take it. It takes a while but I thought it was worth it.
This week I've done a lot of worldbuilding and drabbles of fics but my mind is currently racing through three projects at once, which although one f them is fresh, have changed so much since I started thinking about them more or less a year ago.
Project 1: Science Fiction. Set in a galaxy I'm designing. As yet I have a system, a spacehip and some characters which you'd have thought would be enough to start writing with, but as yet there is very little plot behind it.
Project 2: Fantasy, the new project. There's a world which has changed several times, some magic, now I have mythology including ancient runes and their own sort of tarot cards. Yet in this one there's not so much as a single charac ter that wants to exist in this world. I'm thinking about merging it with another old project, Luce Aeterna, to see if they fit well or complete each other in any way.
Project 3: The most unthought about project. Although I haven't written aything on it yet; or even drawn the plans. It's the project that runs through my mind when I'm lying in bed trying to sleep. It seems to be Horror/Thriller although I've really never tried this genre before, it's probably just a by product of the three Stephen King novels I've read this month. It's kind of a revival of Within the Walls, without any of the original characters, settings or plot aspects, just the general theme.
Argh. My mind is so complex!

Good day, lost souls.
Verily, I have slobbed. Also I discovered the cult of the Invisible Pink Unicorn (pbuh), which is enjoyably amusing in a paradoxical way. Supposedly She (the unicorn) is both like God and an orbiting teapot.
I conversed with god today, but the window crashed so I won't be postng the outcome.
Also, yesterday I achieved a brain age of 20 for the second time, hoorah. But as yet I have been unable to memorise all 30 four-lettered words in the memory game.
See you swoon.

My life is incredibly mundane currently.
On Wednesday I went to the mall and purchased myself a copy of the ultra-addictive "Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old is Your Brain?" and since, my brain has been getting younger and younger (my graph shows 46 then 31 then 26) and it even helps improve my spanish (if I play it in Spanish that is - the colour game is so confusing!).
Also I bought two new Stephen Kings: Salem's Lot and The Regulators. But I haven't even opened them yet, 'cos I've been engrossed in other things.
One such thing is the IAU's debate (which finally concluded yesterday). But the ignorant ITV news misreported what they actually said. Hmmph.
The news said, and I quote, "It's time to rewrite the textbooks: Pluto is no longer a planet." Grrr. While it is true Pluto has been demoted to Dwarf Planet, the term still identifies it as a planet, just a dwarf one.
I like the new classification. The solar system now consists of:
8 Classical Planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
3 Dwarf Planets: Ceres, Pluto and (as yet unnamed) 2003 UB313.
12 objects yet to be classified (including Charon, Pluto's largest moon).
Many, many, many SSSB's (Small Solar System Bodies) - that's asteroids, NEO's, TNO's and comets.
Oh and a coupl'a hundred moons.
Hoorah for complicated astronomical classification!
